European IT Certification Academy Business IT Certificate (EITCA-B) encompasses a two semesters e-Learning programme of 180 hours in 12 IT courses. Each course of the EITCA-B certification programme includes 15 hours (with 10 hours of lectures and 5 hours of exercises or distributed software laboratories).

All courses treat in detail issues concerning Business IT, and each separate course is prepared as a self-contained study packet (with studying contents related to a specific Business IT disciple and independent from the other courses).

Below you will find more detailed information programme on each of the two semesters:

• The first semester of the EITCA-B studying programme (encompassing 6 courses of 90 hours) has a practical character. It includes a necessary introduction to internet technologies and development of modern web services (connected to increased effectiveness of Internet marketing), as well as introduction to fundamentals of programming and effective utilization of business software (including open source software). One of the courses is also devoted towards surveying of practical IT applications in entrepreneurship, business and administration. Another course presents a discussion of practical applications of advanced calculation sheets and databases (the combination of which is a fundamental for Business Intelligence systems). Important are also the last two courses of the first semester, treating accordingly about administration and management of Microsoft business software (which due to the corporation leading IT market position set the industry standards) and about e-Commerce and Internet commercials markets which currently become a dominating form of support for business processes.
  
  
• The second semester of the EITCA-B studying programme (also encompassing 6 courses of 90 hours) is characterized by a more sophisticated applications in business processes, nevertheless is not less important and practical than the first one. In the second semester the knowledge and expertise on a currently ongoing IT development and its impact on critical business operations will be a primary focus. IT courses will include studying programmes on a fast evolving information technologies for telecommunication (OSS/BSS systems, SDP service delivery platforms, etc.). Not less important is providing education in completely new ICT (information and communication technologies) disciples which are now just starting entering markets worldwide and are not yet fully adopted but hold a great potential for business applications and further business IT development. Courses, which are concerning - practical and important for marketing - issues connected to multimedia techniques (e.g. advanced computer graphics and animation tools like Flash technology) and modern systems for online collaboration are especially important in context of complementary knowledge and IT skills in increasing business effectiveness.
